Inspired by lettering found on an American poster from the 1930s, TT Gertika pairs geometric construction with rough, primal detailing: diagonal stroke cuts at 90 degrees, sharp asymmetric terminals on glyphs such as 'S', 'C' and 'З', and noticeably dynamic proportions. Four stylistic sets allow the character of the face to shift from strict and angular to rounded and fluid without changing the underlying letterforms. With 922 characters and support for 230-plus languages across Latin and Cyrillic, it suits book and magazine covers, exhibition graphics and folklore-inflected brand identities.
