MegaMegaTypeType
A soft geometric sans by Stan Partalev and Mirela Belova, spanning eleven weights with italics, a variable font, and Cyrillic support via multiple stylistic sets.
About
Garet takes the proportions of geometric sans-serif design and softens them with rounded details and a generous x-height, lending text a warm, approachable quality. The family ships with four OpenType stylistic sets, including alternative Cyrillic oval forms, an alternate 'g', and case-sensitive punctuation. Two weights are available free, with the full family of 23 fonts – including a variable font – available to purchase.
Classification
A soft geometric sans-serif with rounded terminals and a warm character, closer to the humanised geometric tradition than strict cold geometry. The high x-height and multiple stylistic sets reinforce its readable, friendly disposition.
