A softened companion to Aeonik that introduces gently curved corners across the neo-grotesque structure, giving it warmth without losing geometric clarity.
About
Aeonik Soft keeps the mechanical backbone of the original Aeonik but introduces subtle curves at every corner and junction, shifting the register from sharp and rational to something warmer and more approachable. Eight weights run from Air to Black, each paired with a matching italic, and a variable font is included with full-family purchases. Language coverage spans Latin, Cyrillic, Greek and Vietnamese, with a full set of OpenType features including old-style figures, fractions, stylistic alternates and case-sensitive punctuation.
Classification
Neo-grotesque with uniformly softened corners throughout all glyphs. Maintains the mechanical structure and proportions of Aeonik but substitutes hard junctions for gentle curves at every terminal and junction. Sits between a hard geometric grotesque and a fully rounded sans — warmer than the original without becoming decorative.
