displaygeometric modular
Squarc specimen from Talbot Type

A modular display face built entirely from a square and an arc, with a single lowercase-only case and underlined letters substituting for capitals.

About

Every character in Squarc is constructed from just two components – a square and an arc – resulting in a stark, grid-derived aesthetic that sits within the Bauhaus and De Stijl tradition. The face is lowercase-only by design, with capital letters represented by underlined variants, keeping the system as reductive as possible. An inline companion, Squarc Two, is also available.

Classification

A single-case modular display face constructed entirely from two geometric components – a square and an arc – placing it firmly in the geometric/constructivist display tradition with Bauhaus and De Stijl influences.
