A geometric sans-serif spun off from Kamerik, distinguished from its sibling by sharp Deco-style apex points and oblique terminals across six weights.
About
Kessel 105 emerged from character variations developed during the design of Kamerik, with the designer choosing to organise distinct letterform approaches into separate typefaces rather than bundled alternates. It is set apart by angled strokes with sharp pointed apices on letters such as A, v and w, and oblique rather than horizontal terminals on C and s. A companion, Kessel 205, takes the Art Deco tendencies further with lowered crossbars and a crossed capital W.
Classification
A geometric sans-serif with Art Deco inflections, featuring sharp apex points on angled strokes and oblique terminals rather than horizontal cuts, placing it firmly in the modernist geometric tradition with decorative leanings.
