MegaMegaTypeType
A text-optimised companion to Kaleko 105, trading that family's large x-height for more traditional proportions to improve space economy in continuous setting.
About
Kaleko 105 Text shares the circular, near-monoline character of Kaleko 105 but employs a shallower x-height with longer ascenders and descenders, reducing line width and page count in running text. Despite its geometric origins, the adjusted proportions make it a practical choice for body copy alongside Kaleko 105 in display roles. It is also noted as pairing well with the slab-serif family Kettering 105/205.
Classification
A geometric sans-serif with a circular, monoline lowercase construction in the Bauhaus tradition. Designed with more traditional x-height proportions than its companion Kaleko 105, making it better suited to continuous text setting.
