Benelux takes its cues from the rounded, regularised letterforms found on cheap plastic letter stencils, tracing a lineage through European mid-twentieth century design to the Bauhaus. Five weights from Light to Heavy give it range across text and display applications. The design balances geometric structure with soft terminals, lending it a friendly but utilitarian character.
