Obscura TM
Studio 2AM · 2025

A single-weight display font with three built-in stylistic sets that automatically rotate via Contextual Alternates, producing a woozy, blurred character variation as you type.
About
Obscura TM uses OpenType programming to shuffle between three stylistic sets automatically, so no manual intervention is needed to achieve the distorted, blurry aesthetic. It is aimed squarely at nightlife flyers, posters and graphics where deliberate visual noise is desirable. The font ships in OTF, TTF and WOFF2 formats and covers Basic Latin, Western European, Central European and Pan African Latin character sets.
Classification
A display typeface built around a deliberate blur or distortion effect, with three stylistic sets that automatically alternate via Contextual Alternates. Its novelty lies in the programmatic variation rather than a traditional structural classification.
