Overprint Outline TM specimen from 6TM Magazine

The outline cut of Type Mania's Overprint TM, a xerox-distressed display face that uses contextual alternates to rotate two stylistic sets and simulate worn, imperfect type.

About

Overprint Outline TM is a grungy display face built to look like text run repeatedly through a photocopier. Its broken, uneven stroke edges are reinforced by two stylistic sets that cycle automatically via contextual alternates, so each word carries slightly different imperfections. Suited to lo-fi logotypes, editorial headers and social media graphics with a grunge or Y2K sensibility.

Classification

Outline cut of a distressed grungy sans-serif. Uneven, broken stroke edges mimic repeated photocopier passes. Two stylistic sets engage automatically via contextual alternates to cycle imperfections, so no two words render identically. Purely a display face; unsuitable at text sizes.
