About
Sharp Grotesk Thai is the Thai component of Sharp Grotesk Global – Sharp Type's most expansive release and its first multi-script superfamily. Designed in collaboration with Bangkok-based studio Cadson Demak and Calvin Kwok under type director Lucas Sharp, it matches the Latin family's numbered width system (15–25) and weight range. It sits alongside Greek, Cyrillic and Hangul extensions, making the full collection suitable for global brand work requiring consistent grotesque typography across scripts.
Classification
Thai-script extension of Sharp Grotesk, a neo-grotesque with strong geometric underpinning. Uses Sharp Grotesk's numbered width system (15–25) across 11 widths and 12 weights per the family stat panel. No italic — consistent with Thai script convention. Part of Sharp Grotesk Global, a multi-script superfamily spanning Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Hangul and Thai.
