A Folio-rooted grotesque designed to pair with the Art Nouveau-derived Residence Nouveau, creating a superfamily that spans two distinct historical traditions.
About
Residence Grotesque is the clean-lined half of Kia Tasbihgou's Residence superfamily, taking Folio as its model while Residence Nouveau draws on Art Nouveau letterforms. The two families share metrics and work in tandem, setting up a dialogue between regionally different typographic traditions. Sixteen styles cover a full weight range with italics, aimed at editorial and branding use where historical grounding and contemporary neutrality are both wanted.
