Ghost Text Mono is the monospaced sub-family of Sharp Type's Ghost superfamily, a four-year collaborative project by Lucas Sharp, My-Lan Thuong, Léna Le Pommelet and Daniel Veneklaas. Released in May 2026 alongside Ghost Display and Ghost Text, it provides five weights with italic counterparts, plus a SemiMono variant that bridges full fixed-width and proportional spacing. The design inherits Ghost's humanist character, grounded in Roman inscriptional lettering and Edward Johnston's 1916 typeface, giving it more warmth than a mechanically constructed coding font.
