A warm neo-grotesque in eight weights with true italics and a spare set of obliques on top.
About
SFT Ritam Sans takes a grotesk frame and loosens it with open shapes and rounded details, so it reads lively rather than clinical. Eight weights carry drawn italics as well as mechanical obliques, which is unusual and useful for systems that need both. Latin and a deep Cyrillic, with Bulgarian and Serbian forms, plus a variable font with weight and slant axes.
Classification
The foundry calls it a contemporary neo-grotesque: a structured grotesk skeleton with softened, humanised details, true italics and a separate oblique set.
