About
Merkury originated as sketches for the 2001 group exhibition 'From Mars: Self-initiated Projects in Graphic Design', and was refined over subsequent years before settling into its current form. Its rounded strokes and oversized dot on the i give it a soft but precise character – sitting at the gentle end of the geometric sans tradition without tipping into novelty. A Mono variant extends its usefulness into code and tabular settings, while Cyrillic support comes with specialised alternates for Bulgarian and Macedonian.

Originally named Mercury; renamed Merkury to avoid confusion with H&Co's Mercury and Fountain's similarly named face. Includes a monospaced variant based on the Medium weight.
