Designed by Manvel Shmavonyan with participation from Gayaneh Bagdasaryan, Vaccine uses low stroke contrast and sturdy serifs to remain legible at small sizes and in poor printing conditions. The mixture of standard and one-sided serifs gives it an unusual texture on the page, sitting somewhere between a conventional slab and a rounded serif. Five weights with matching italics make it a practical choice for magazines, packaging, corporate identity and urban signage.

Described by the foundry as a 'semi semi slab serif', combining conventional bilateral serifs with one-sided serifs and rounded terminals, sitting between a full slab and a serif with low stroke contrast and sturdy slab-like serifs.
