Designed at TypeMarket in 1993, Start shares its DNA with Novarese's Stop (Nebiolo, 1971), using flat terminals, diagonal slices and tightly enclosed counters to produce a bold, mechanical effect. Available in a single Regular weight, it is an all-caps face intended for poster and decorative applications. The letterforms are uniform in weight with no italic or condensed variants.
