A deliberately disruptive display face from Shinntype that splices serif and sans-serif conventions onto a techno armature, displacing and eliding letterforms to sit at the threshold of legibility.
About
Morphica treats legibility as a negotiation rather than a given, blending stroke contrast with a mechanical skeleton while misplacing or omitting parts of letterforms. The result is a face that hovers between coherence and breakdown, suited to fashion, poster and magazine contexts where that tension is desirable. Only two weights are offered: Regular and Bold.
Classification
A deliberately transgressive display face that mixes serif and sans-serif elements, applies stroke contrast to a techno structure, and displaces or elides letterform parts. Its disjunctive nature places it firmly in the experimental display category.
