displaygeometric sans
Hair-V specimen from ParaType

A single-weight hairline geometric sans designed by Igor Nastenko at the Design Studio of Igor Nastenko in 1991–1992, with near-monolinear strokes and circular letterforms.

About

Available only in Light, Hair-V is built around extremely fine, near-monolinear strokes that give every character a delicate, almost drawn quality. The circular bowls and open apertures visible in the specimen reinforce its geometric construction. Its thinness limits it to display and headline use at larger sizes.

Classification

The specimen shows an extremely thin, single-weight sans-serif with near-monolinear strokes, circular geometric letterforms and an overall hairline quality that places it firmly in the display category as a geometric sans.
