A single-weight display variant of PT Pragmatica in which each letterform is tilted at a varying angle to create a deliberately unstable, off-kilter appearance.
About
Developed at ParaType in 1997 by Alexander Tarbeev, Drunk derives its letterforms from Vladimir Yefimov's PT Pragmatica (1989), a Cyrillic grotesque. The letters are set at irregular, shifting angles to mimic the visual impression of imbalance, intended for advertising and poster contexts. Only a Bold weight is available.
Classification
A display variant of PT Pragmatica with letterforms set at irregular, tilted angles to simulate intoxication. The specimen shows a heavy bold sans with each letter canted at varying degrees, giving a deliberately unstable appearance suited to poster and advertising use.
