A rounded display typeface in six weights, designed by Natalia Vasilyeva and released by ParaType in 2018, with stylistic alternates that shift the forms toward more conventional letter shapes for longer settings.
About
Crassula takes its name from the succulent plant, with the rounded, full-bodied contours of its letterforms drawing an explicit parallel to the plant's thick leaves. Six weights span from Thin to Black, giving it range across informal editorial headlines, packaging and promotional material. Stylistic alternates provide more traditional letterforms, extending its usefulness beyond purely decorative headline work.
Classification
A display typeface characterised by rounded contours and smoothed forms, designed primarily for headlines and short-form contexts rather than extended text setting.
