MegaMegaTypeType
A revised and expanded version of Deca Serif, offering low-contrast letterforms with narrow proportions and extended language support across eight styles.
About
Deca Serif New retains the squarish oval shapes and narrow proportions of the original Deca Serif while introducing corrected letterforms, an extended character set covering Greek and Extended Cyrillic, and a fuller range of weights with matching italics. Its low contrast and compact proportions make it well suited to small text settings in scientific, legal and business contexts. The typeface is designed to work as a companion to Deca Sans, sharing structural logic across both families.
Classification
A low-contrast serif with squarish oval shapes and narrow proportions, placing it in the contemporary functional serif category suited to text and small-size use rather than display work.
