MegaMegaTypeType
A soft humanist serif by Natalia Vasilyeva with rounded terminals, calligraphic detail and a large x-height, released by ParaType in 2023 across five weights with matching italics.
About
Rounded terminals and calligraphic details give Mellow Serif a warm character suited to large display sizes, while even proportions and a generous x-height keep it readable in continuous text. Ten styles span five weights from Light to Extra Bold, each with a true italic. The extended character set covers Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, with old-style figures, small caps in the three lighter upright weights and swash alternates in the Regular.
Classification
A humanist serif with calligraphic details, rounded terminals and a large x-height. The soft, friendly character and calligraphic influence place it firmly in the humanist serif tradition.
