MegaMegaTypeType
A decorative slab serif with sharp, distinctive features across five weights from Hairline to Regular, offering extended Latin and Cyrillic support.
About
Designed by Alexey Chekulaev in 2021, Altruiste draws from the light styles of the Postulat typeface and is built around a concept of duplicated structural elements that give the letterforms an unusual visual character. Each of the ten styles – five weights with matching italics – contains 600 characters covering both Latin and Cyrillic. The typeface suits poster work, logotypes, signage and editorial display use.
Classification
A slab serif with sharp, distinctive features and a decorative character inspired by duplicated structural elements. The light, hairline-oriented weight range and ornamental nature place it firmly in the decorative slab category.
