Aksent specimen from ParaType

A single-weight geometric display face designed by Alexey Kustov at TypeMarket in 1993, based on an earlier font by Yevgeny Dobrovinsky, with squared strokes and rectangular cut counters.

About

The letterforms are heavy and modular, with sharp right-angle corners and counters punched cleanly into the stroke mass, giving the face a blocky, technical character. Only one weight is available. The design traces back to a prior font by Yevgeny Dobrovinsky, reworked by Kustov for TypeMarket.

Classification

The specimen shows a heavy, single-weight sans with squared, modular letterforms and rectangular counters cut into the strokes – characteristics of a geometric display face rather than a functional text type.
