A large-scale geometric sans spanning 8 weights and 7 widths, designed to unify Arabic and Latin scripts within a single optical and proportional system.

About

Yekan Bakh covers 60 languages across Arabic and Latin scripts, with bespoke character design for each. Despite falling broadly into the monoline category, stroke thickness varies intentionally to aid legibility and account for optical perception. The family includes a variable font, 17 currency symbols and stylistic sets for regional monetary notation including Rial and Toman.
