Techno
NoonFont · Narges Homayoun, Amin Abedi · 2025

A Persian and Arabic display face that replaces conventional thick strokes with pairs of parallel lines, creating a rhythmic interplay between double and single line forms across the alphabet.
About
Designed by Narges Homayoun and Amin Abedi, Techno applies a consistent structural logic: where a stroke would normally be thick, two parallel lines appear; where it would be thin, a single line suffices. This approach reinterprets familiar Persian letterforms into something simultaneously archaic and modern in feel. Intended for posters, book covers and graphic headlines, the single-weight family supports Persian, Arabic and Kurdish.
Classification
A display typeface built on a distinctive structural principle of parallel double lines for thick strokes and single lines for thin parts, creating rhythmic contrast. Its Persian/Arabic script focus and poster-oriented design place it firmly in the display category.
