A brutalist stencil typeface built around a deliberate paradox: curves on the interior of forms, sharp angles on the exterior, available across nine weights as a variable font.
About
NaN Bronzo inverts conventional stencil logic by placing curves inside letter forms while keeping exterior contours strictly angular, producing a distinctive visual tension. Nine weights run from Thin to Black within a single variable font file, with OpenType features including fractions and ligatures. The typeface supports 324 Latin-based languages and was produced by the full NaN team with additional engineering from Igino Marini.
Classification
A stencil display typeface characterised by sharp corners and an inverted logic of curves inside with angles outside, placing it firmly in the display/experimental category with brutalist sensibilities.
