So Type specimen from Milk Type Foundry

A plump, bouncy display serif with soft curves and a strong dairy-aisle mood.

About

So Type is Milk's most shown family, with 23 of the 64 specimen tiles. Heavy strokes, curled tails and generous bowls give it a cheerful, food-packaging character. The specimens include macron vowels for te reo Māori and a full set of currency symbols.

Classification

Bracketed serifs, a heavy, bouncy stroke and rounded terminals put it in the chunky display serif tradition rather than a text face.
