Designed by Ely Hernández, Jazmin takes Globe Gothic as its starting point but departs from it with revised proportions, curve details and serif shapes that give the family a more contemporary character. The family splits into two versions: the main Jazmin, which leans elegant, and Jazmin Alt, which takes a more playful approach, both sharing eight weights from Thin to Black with italics throughout. The full set covers 566 characters supporting over 200 Latin-based languages, making it well suited to editorial, branding and packaging work.
Classification
Inspired by Globe Gothic, Jazmin features slab-like serifs with contemporary proportions and moderate stroke contrast, placing it in the slab serif category with a display-leaning character.
