About
Gouda takes early American lettering and lets it melt into something rounder and friendlier. The default shapes are redrawn with a contemporary eye, while alternates reach back to the historic models. Two widths in eight weights suit food packaging, posters, kids' brands and publishing.
Classification
A chunky, rounded serif in the Goudy and Cooper tradition, with soft melted terminals and blobby serifs. Its warmth and heavy rounded forms place it with retro display serifs rather than text faces.
