Ropa Sans Pro

An eight-weight sans with DIN-influenced uprights and distinctly humanistic italics, offered in a small caps subfamily with broad Latin, Cyrillic and Greek coverage.
About
The upright styles carry a quiet nod to early-20th century DIN letterforms while the italics take a markedly different, quirky humanist direction, giving the family an unusual internal contrast. OpenType features include case-sensitive forms, fractions, super and subscript characters, stylistic alternates, and a full suite of old style and lining figures in both tabular and proportional widths. Manual hinting makes it well suited to screen use in web fonts, eBooks and apps. The Regular and Italic are available free under the SIL Open Font License.
Classification
The upright styles draw loosely from early-20th century DIN aesthetics while the italics are strongly humanistic in character, placing it firmly in the humanist sans tradition with a technical undercurrent.
