Originally released in 2014 and expanded significantly in 2022, Texta Pro draws on humanist traditions from Edward Johnston to Adrian Frutiger, aiming for quiet legibility without being anonymous. The family spans eight weights with matching italics across two subfamilies – the standard and an Alt variant featuring stylistic tail alternates via ss01 and ss02. OpenType features are thorough: small caps for Latin and Cyrillic, old-style and tabular figures, ligatures, case-sensitive punctuation and an expanded set of monetary and mathematical symbols totalling 983 glyphs.
Classification
