Drawing on Bauhaus experimentation and American and European hand lettering from the first half of the twentieth century, Arquitecta Standard blends rational geometric construction with humanist proportions suited to continuous reading. Ink traps reduce press impressing spots, and a small x-height with accentuated ascenders and descenders gives the family a distinctive typographic rhythm. The family spans eight upright and eight italic styles, with full European accent coverage.
