Latinotype · Daniel Hernández, Alfonso García · 2020

A contemporary transitional serif in 20 styles, drawing from the 1912 ATF MacFarland series with a medium-large x-height suited to headlines and brand identity.
About
Split into Basic and Display subfamilies, Apparel balances functional legibility with a laid-back personality rooted in the MacFarland ATF tradition. The Display subfamily amplifies stroke contrast for use at larger sizes, while moderately slanted italics are available as OpenType Stylistic Alternates alongside old-style and lining figures. Each style supports over 200 Latin-based languages and includes a basic Cyrillic set.
Classification
Inspired by the 1912 ATF MacFarland series and sharing functional characteristics with Times New Roman and Caslon, Apparel is a contemporary transitional serif with medium-large x-height and a higher-contrast Display subfamily intended for larger sizes.
