Prayoat takes its name from the Thai word for 'benefit' and centres legibility as its primary concern. The loop terminal construction follows traditional Thai type conventions while the family extends across Latin 1–4 scripts, making it suited to bilingual publishing. Seven weights with matching italics give it practical range across text and display contexts.
