A friendly humanist sans with sharp, angled terminals, in six weights with italics and built for long reading on paper and screen.
About
Koya Sans pairs open humanist shapes with crisply cut terminals that give text a lively edge. It was drawn for continuous reading, and the range from Thin to Black covers display too. The terminals take their cue from the pagoda roofs at Kōyasan, south of Osaka.
Classification
Open humanist proportions with sharply cut, angled terminals. The terminals, meant to echo the corners of a pagoda roof, add a crisp edge to an otherwise text-focused humanist structure.
