Fourth specimen from J Foundry

A contemporary roundhand script in seven weights, rooted in baseball lettering and sign painting, with a full suite of alternates, swash capitals and ornamental extras for branding work.

About

Fourth takes the connected letterforms of classic American roundhand and sharpens them for modern branding and display use. Seven weights from Thin to Ultra Black are supported by contextual alternates for clean joins, stylistic alternates for common letters, swash capitals, catchwords and a separate ornament pack. It is well-suited to sports identities, logos and any project that wants a confident handmade feel without sacrificing legibility.

Classification

Contemporary connected roundhand script drawing on classic Americana sources – baseball lettering, sign painting and vintage branding. Described by the foundry as "rational and refined," prioritising consistency and legibility across weights rather than expressive irregularity. No upright roman or italic companion; the script weight axis runs from Thin to Ultra Black.
