About
Salma Arabic draws on the Naskh calligraphic tradition whilst breaking from it through elevated stroke contrast and redesigned connections between letterforms. Five weights from Light to Black accommodate both headline and branding work, and OpenType features include swash characters (activated by appending 'ءء') and automatic substitution for the Saudi riyal and Omani rial symbols. A Latin companion is available as an add-on to the Arabic release.
