Algorytm Flip
Interval Type · Ilya Naumoff · 2025

A reverse contrast companion to the Algorytm collection, drawing from early American gothic references and spanning eight weights with Cyrillic support.
About
Algorytm Flip inverts the conventional stroke hierarchy of a sans-serif, thickening horizontals and thinning verticals to create a typographic tension suited to display and branding work. Part of a six-family system built on gothic references including Times Gothic and Inland Gothic N6, it brings structural rigour to a deliberately unconventional premise. Eight weights from Extralight to Ultra, with extensive OpenType alternates across both Latin and Cyrillic.
Classification
Reverse contrast companion within the six-family Algorytm collection. Inspired by early American gothic display faces – Times Gothic, Inland Gothic N6, Gothic N2 – with stroke weight deliberately inverted: horizontals thicken, verticals thin. Eight weights from Extralight to Ultra. Extended Latin and Cyrillic with character-level OpenType alternates for both scripts.
