Algorytm specimen from Interval Type

A six-family sans-serif system rooted in early American Gothic types, spanning display, text, mono, sport and reverse-contrast variants with full Latin and Cyrillic support.

About

Algorytm draws on early American Gothic typefaces – Times Gothic, Inland Gothic N6 and Gothic N2 – as the basis for a modern, systematically organised collection. Six related subfamilies cover the main use cases: standard display (Algorytm), extended reading (Clear), rounded and approachable (Soft), dynamic inline (Sport), reverse-contrast branding (Flip) and monospaced (Mono), all sharing eight weights with italics. The character sets are notably deep, with multiple stylistic alternates per key letter, text and lining numerals, a mathematical symbol set, and consistent Cyrillic coverage throughout.

Classification

Modern sans-serif rooted in early American Gothic types – Times Gothic, Inland Gothic N6 and Gothic N2. Organised as a six-family system (Algorytm, Clear, Soft, Sport, Flip, Mono) totalling 51 styles. The Flip subfamily inverts contrast for branding use. Rich alternates throughout; released April 2026 still at Beta 0.1 status.
