Garibaldi traces its origins to a study of humanist stroke construction, using translation and expansion to produce medium contrast across a 20° axis. The family covers four weights with matching italics, totalling eight fonts, each containing over 750 glyphs with extensive OpenType support including small caps, ligatures, contextual alternates and multiple figure styles. It was recognised as a Typographica Favourite Typeface of 2015 and awarded at Tipos Latinos and the Biennial of Brazilian Graphic Design.
