Originally designed in 2005 for the political supplement of Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, this geometric sans-serif pairs a clean Hebrew structure with softened rounded corners across four weights and three widths.
About
Conceived as an alternative to the dominant Haim typeface used in Israeli newspaper headlines, Aduma shares Haim's simple elegance but tempers its angularity with rounded corners that lend a warmer, more inviting character. It has since become widely used in Israeli television packaging, book covers and daily press, including the front pages of Israel Hayom. A 2026 update expanded the family with a full matching Latin set, added Compressed and Condensed widths alongside Normal, and introduced more playful, dynamic detailing with a nod to sports graphics.
