Taz
LucasFonts · Luc(as) de Groot

A newspaper sans built for the German paper taz, running fifteen weights across five widths from body text to full-bleed headlines.
About
Taz was designed for newspaper production and still carries the marks of that brief: a Text width for small-size body copy, a Condensed and Wide for headline flexibility, and a run of named headline weights (H04 through H21) alongside a standard weight ladder up to UltraBlack. It has since spread well beyond newspapers into magazines and corporate brochures.
Classification
A newspaper sans spanning fifteen named weights from hairline headline cuts to UltraBlack, built across five widths for everything from body text to giant headlines.
