MegaMegaTypeType
A slab serif extension of the Publica family by Marcus Sterz, offered across nine weights with matching italics and a broad suite of OpenType features suited to signage, corporate and magazine work.
About
Publica Slab sits alongside Publica Sans, Publica Soft and Publica Play as the serifed member of Facetype's Publica superfamily. Its 18 styles span nine weights from ExtraLight to Black, each with a matching italic, and the family ships with tabular figures, rare currency symbols, arrows and extensive alternates including leaning variants and unicase forms. The wide language coverage and OpenType depth make it a practical choice for demanding, multilingual design projects.
Classification
A slab serif companion to the Publica Sans family, sharing its geometric construction and clean letterforms while adding bracketed slab serifs. The even stroke weight and systematic weight range place it firmly in the geometric slab tradition.
