A broad retro display family by Marcus Sterz, covering chromatic layered 3D styles, a vintage Victorian face, a Futura-influenced geometric and a set of 220 label shapes.
About
Plaquette spans a wide range of historical references from Victorian to Bauhaus to the 1960s, unified into one commercially sold collection. The 3D subfamilies use layered chromatic fonts for gradient, outline and shadow effects, while Lovecraft offers discretionary ligatures and calligraphic alternates, and Sittl draws on Paul Renner's original Futura drawings. Plaquette Labels provides 220 pre-drawn shapes for logos, plates and label artwork, each subfamily carrying an extensive suite of OpenType features.
Classification
