About
Drawn from a lithographic poster Magritte created for the Second Film and Fine Arts World Festival of Belgium at Knokke-le-Zoute, the typeface is built on a minimalist modular structure of very few components, pairing mechanically rounded curves with right angles. Two subfamilies — Ostende, faithful to the original poster weight, and Knokke — extend its range of application. The extended Latin character set covers a wide spread of languages from across Europe and Africa.
