Intern 2.0 keeps the blunt, big x-height letters drawn on a 5×5 grid and adds colour font technology (COLR and SVG), so each of its eight subfamilies, Acrylic, Charcoal, Crayon, Gouache, Ink, Oil, Varnish and Watercolor, carries its own texture. There are three weights of each, 24 styles in all.
