MegaMegaTypeType
A textured variant of Kittle Round that applies a worn, coarsely printed surface to minimal, rounded geometric letterforms for a friendly yet gritty display effect.
About
Kittle Rough takes the rounded, pared-back geometry of Kittle Round and overlays a distressed texture that evokes letterpress, stamp printing or aged materials. The result sits somewhere between cheerful minimalism and deliberate roughness, suited to display use in posters, logos and editorial contexts where a casual, eco-rustic tone is wanted. The underlying forms are deliberately simple, exploring how legibility and visual appeal can be preserved with very little formal complexity.
Classification
A rounded, minimal geometric sans-serif display typeface with a deliberately applied texture to simulate worn or coarsely printed letterpress output. Its blocky, fat forms and distressed surface place it firmly in the display category.
