Harlem Brush Font
Studio 2AM · Sam Parrett

A hand-painted, heavily distressed brush typeface designed for bold, high-impact display work, with alternate character sets, ligatures and a companion set of 35 decorative paintbrush strokes.
About
Harlem Brush pairs an upright, sans-serif structure with coarse, acrylic-style brush textures that give each letterform a raw, painted quality. Full uppercase and lowercase alternate sets allow different distress textures to be applied to repeated characters, while 21 ligatures and small-caps add further variation. A separate companion font, Harlem Brush Strokes, provides 35 decorative strokes, doodles and shapes accessible via standard alphanumeric keys.
Classification
A hand-painted, heavily distressed brush typeface with bold, textural letterforms intended for display use. Classified as display rather than script due to its upright, sans-serif structure with brush texture applied as a distressing effect rather than a connected cursive construction.
