A sharp, high-contrast serif from Darden Studio spanning 80 styles across five optical sizes and eight weights, designed to move fluidly from quiet text setting to bold display work.
About
Daith is built around a continuous optical-size axis with five grades – Small, Caption, Text, Display and Big – each paired with eight weights from Thin to Black, all with matching italics. The design is characterised by sharp, high-contrast forms suited to screen-first use, with letterforms that grow more expressive and daring at larger sizes. Art direction by Eben Sorkin, with production assistance from Szymon Marciniak.
Classification
A contemporary serif with a continuous optical-size axis spanning five grades from Small to Big, designed to shift character from restrained text setting to expressive display use. The sharp, high-contrast letterforms place it firmly in the contemporary serif tradition rather than any strict historical revival.
